OUR MISSION & VISION
ASI’s mission is to build a vibrant republic led by our country’s best and brightest citizenry. We are focused on equipping citizens with a deep appreciation for America’s exceptionalism. ASI approaches its work through the lens of local leadership, establishing community institutions that shape and influence the neighborhoods we call home.

The foundation of ASI’s work is through challenging citizens to put community and country on their priority list in the same way they do their family, business, health, faith and other values that are integral to their well-being. ASI aspires to make active citizenry a part of Americans’ everyday lives, and to equip them with the necessary tools to take deliberate and consistent steps to help rehabilitate leadership in our republic by starting at the local level.

ASI focuses on action by encouraging its donors and their networks to be not just financial supporters but also thought-leaders and active participants in the work. ASI is inspiring many of its supporters to demonstrate their engagement through local civic involvement, ensuring their philanthropy goes beyond dollars to include time, attention, and participation.

The American republic is exceptional in many ways. Blessed by a uniquely positioned geography, a hardy, daring, and exploration-driven culture was formed over 400 years by immigrants making their way to our abundant shores. PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES
ASI believes that the future of America begins on a local level, in communities where we live, work, and raise our families. ASI’s programming and activities focus on encouraging leaders in commerce to dedicate time and attention to their community and country and to collaborate with others who are sharing a similar reawakening. Through our work, participants in ASI programming become more focused and more deeply involved in their communities, taking on an active role in helping to solve the issues that impact every one of us.
NETWORKING + COLLABORATION
ASI provides opportunities for engaged citizens to connect, collaborate, and brainstorm around shared values and civic engagement opportunities. Through facilitated networking events and collaborative workshops, ASI creates and curates events and experiences where community members build relationships, exchange ideas, and work together towards common goals. ASI tracks this engagement along with resulting partnerships and outcomes.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
ASI offers comprehensive leadership skills training programs designed to equip individuals and their families with the essential skills and confidence to become leaders in this American republic. These trainings focus on fostering basic understanding of important skills required of all leaders, offer a practical glimpse into the leadership traits of our various speakers, and foster a spirit of camaraderie amongst participants.
COMMUNICATION PLATFORM
ASI encourages citizens to become actively involved in their communities through timely information, resources, and opportunities for civic engagement. ASI emphasizes the importance of communicating within one’s community and raising awareness of opportunities to take on an active stewardship role in local neighborhoods and society at large.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
ASI, through informative workshops, seminars, and educational materials, empowers individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to understand and actively participate in the democratic process.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS
ASI organizes and hosts non-partisan events engaging community members in constructive conversations around core issues. These events provide platforms for discussing founding principles and the policies of today, engage in over the horizon thinking, aligning our investments and interests in sustaining the American republic, and living with intentionality, all with the goal of fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the fundamentals underpinning American exceptionalism.
STRATEGIC GRANTS
ASI strategically invests in other nonprofit organizations that align with its core values and actively implement initiatives that promote an effective and functioning republic. These include organizations working to make communities safer, promote transparent and accountable education, promote fiscal responsibility, thoughtful immigration policy, healthy lifestyles, and responsible conservation and stewardship of our nation’s resources. By supporting these organizations, ASI aims to amplify its impact and drive positive change across American communities.
